Neighborhood Shabbat Volunteer Interest

Help us bring Shabbat to homes across the valleys. Indicate whether you can host a dinner, serve as a Shabbat Experience Leader, or both. We’ll follow up to confirm details and make matches for the Friday, April 17, 2026 dinner.

What is Neighborhood Shabbat?
Neighborhood Shabbat is one night when Or Ami congregants celebrate Shabbat together in homes across our community. We are seeking 12 homes willing to host a Shabbat dinner gathering for 6 to 10 other guests.

Volunteer Roles:
Host: Determine the number of guests and the menu based on your guest list.
Shabbat Experience Leader: Help create a warm welcoming Shabbat candlelighting and a meaningful, inspirational moment, based on materials provided by the Rabbis.

Please sign up by Friday, March 20, 2026.
