4th & 5th grade families share dinner together as students receive their own siddur (prayerbook). This special siddur will be what they use during services, t'filah, and at their Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

We'll be decorating these siddurim and celebrating the occasion with a small ceremony.

If your 4th or 5th grader has already decorated their siddur, we still want them to attend! There will be special activities for them and they will play a role in leading the ceremony.

*6th graders who have yet to receive and decorate their siddur are invited to join as well!

Following this event will be our Family Shabbat MusicLab with musician and songleader Toby Pechner. Learning from 17 summers in the Jewish camping movement, Pechner brings the feel of camp community singing to congregations across the country.
