On Friday February 21 we welcome the incredible Pastor Kathy Huck who has focused her life’s work on the spirituality of the “stranger.” We come together as one community in prayer for our annual Inclusion Shabbat Service, dedicated to the inclusivity of our communities and a celebration of the amazingly collaborative interfaith work that is to be done to uplift and support the disenfranchised members of our community.

ABOUT PASTOR KATHY HUCK
Pastor Kathy Huck is a Christian minister and Founder/Executive Director of About My Father’s Business Homeless Outreach Ministry. For more than 20 years she served under her Pastor Ken Craft the Founder/CEO of Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission; ministering to the poor and underserved in the Church while being discipled in community service in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. Over those years the work she found most gratifying was ministering to the needs of the unhoused residents of Los Angeles County. In 2018 Kathy felt called and compelled to bring any relief to those experiencing homelessness in Chatsworth, CA, where there is a lack of nonprofit groups and outreach compared to other locations in Los Angeles. After much prayer, reflection and meditation Kathy called on a few like-minded advocates and About My Father’s Business began on 29 April 2019. Living her faith out loud by caring for the poor and underserved is something Kathy attributes to her mother’s teaching throughout her upbringing. Kathy is the wife of Algert Huck III, she is mom, grammy and great-grammy to her progeny.
