Samantha Bookman is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with families. Ms. Bookman holds a Master’s degree from the Phillips Graduate Institute. Her experiences span from working at specialized schools for children and teens with serious emotional disturbances, to working with families in homeless and domestic violence shelters. She currently works in Kaiser’s Ventura region, providing mental health services to individuals, children and families.

John DeRoy, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist has been working with individuals, couples, and families for 15 years. Although helping clients with a host of issues, he specializes in parenting issues. John is also a certified trainer in a life-changing parenting approach that combines the science of brain development, child development, and attachment theory with the human qualities of empathy, connection, and compassion.

Samantha Bookman MFT and John DeRoy MFT provide you with a toolbox of different skills and concepts to think about and fall back on, especially when it feels like things are not working with your teens or when as a parent, you do not necessarily trust yourself.
