Kabbalat Torah (Adult Confirmation), an adult learning experience, engages post-B’nai Mitzvah adults in a two-year cycle of Torah (learning), Avodah (reflection on the experience of prayer), and Gemilut Chasadim (involvement in Jewish social action projects).

Kabbalat Torah students meet twice monthly: once for Kabbalat Torah class with Rabbis, and once for Torah study with Scholars (open to community). Students also attend the Or Ami speaker series. After a two year cycle, students help lead a moving Kabbalat Torah service.

Tuesday nights, 7:00-8:30 pm twice a month. Amount $400/year for two years

Text Book: Eshkenazi/Weiss Women’s Torah Commentary. Kabbalat Torah means “Receiving the Torah”
