The J Word Project – Los Angeles Portrait Session

A photography event that is part of an ambitious conceptual art project exploring Jewish identity through portraiture. The goal is to capture as many portraits as possible—aiming for 6 million—to create a powerful visual “group portrait” that highlights the diversity, resilience, and beauty of Jewish life while addressing antisemitism through art.

The event is part of The J Word Project’s mission to explore and celebrate Jewish identity through art. By capturing individual portraits, the project fosters connection, challenges harmful stereotypes, and builds a visual mosaic that honors the strength and diversity of the Jewish community.
